Wilder vs. Ortiz: Rematch Officially Announced

Last year, these two boxing stars had a stunning fight. Wilder eventually knocked out ‘King Kong’ and retained the heavyweight title. However, Ortiz has got one more chance to become the WBC Heavyweight Champion. This rematch will take place on November 23 in Las Vegas. On the undercard of this event, a fight will be held between Santa Cruz and Flores.

The ‘Bronze Bomber’, who has a career record of forty-one wins (forty of them by knockout) and only one draw, claims it will be an opportunity for him to finish ‘King Kong’  with an impressive knockout. Thus, he will send a message to other fighters of the heavyweight division. According to Wilder, he has a few proximate goals: firstly, he will defeat Ortiz, then Fury and afterwards he will go for a unification.

It is noteworthy that in case of a victory over Ortiz, Wilder will have a rematch with Tyson Fury, which is scheduled for February 22 in Las Vegas.

As mentioned earlier, Tyson Fury won a stunning fight against Otto Wallin in their heavyweight bout in Las Vegas. His next goal will be defeating Deontay Wilder.
