UKGC’s Reminder to Licence Holders

The UKGC goes on improving the gambling industry. This time, the Gambling Commission reminded those who hold licences to fulfill their commitments when they use white label gambling websites.

The UKGC also added licensees should maintain control over the third parties they conclude an agreement with. According to the commission, licensees must be aware of their customers and be able to show their knowledge, control their clients and interact with them when necessary.

The UK regulator warned that licensees might lose their permissions if they fail to control the third parties.

Besides, the UK Gambling Commission said licence holders are expected to inspect their third parties and give assurance they are qualified and possible to rely on.

The UKGC partly restricted EveryMatrix’s activity. For instance, they cannot suggest remote facilities for real event wagering and operate a remote casino. However, it is necessary to mention they are not forbidden to produce, deliver, install and adapt software for gambling.

As mentioned earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has recently announced that gambling industry in the country would be legalized by the end of the year.
