These license holders were spotted in several situations connected with the breach of gambling regulations, mainly anti-money laundering and player protection requirements. The commission went to court after the thorough investigation and detection of this problem.

What are the companies and their missteps?

According to the information provided by the UKGC, these licensees are NetBet Enterprises, BGO Entertainment, and GAN plc. BGO Entertainment provided services that often were contrary to responsible gambling principles. GAN plc couldn’t meet social responsibility requirements and some anti-money laundering standards. As for NetBet, the operator also failed to comply with the AML code and hold necessary checks.

Now the regulator has updated the license conditions and enforced operators to pay money to the development of the strategy for gambling harm decrease. The UKGC representatives have said that the commission will continue to monitor the gambling market and detect companies that aren’t compliant with the regulations.
