The British regulator made a statement regarding its partnership with Twitter with the aim of creating rules helping customers who wish to introduce limitations to gambling content on the platform.
According to the regulating body’s announcement, it is possible to adjust the new platform’s safety settings and tools within individual accounts in order to reduce the risk of being exposed to gambling ads of various kinds.
Besides, the GB regulator said that in 2020 its focus will be on creating similar instructions for other social networks as well.
According to the director of British Public Policy on the Twitter platform, the organization’s main mission is improving and maintaining the health of public communication. She also added that the UKGC team is working on specific tools for responsible advertising.
As mentioned earlier, the United Kingdom decided to introduce amendments to the rules for the age limit in terms of scratchcards.
