Based on developments in the last 24 hours, Eventus International has concluded that, unfortunately, it is impossible to continue with SPiCE India 2020 according to its current schedule of March 25-27, 2020. This decision relates to the travel advisory issued by the Indian government dated March 11, 2020, which cancels all existing visas for foreign nationals, except for diplomatic and employment visas, until April 15, 2020, to curtail the COVID-19 impact.
The event organizers left with no choice but to postpone SPiCE India 2020, which will be rescheduled. New dates will be announced shortly after discussions with its stakeholders and advisors. Stay tuned for gambling news in Europe and the US to know everything about this conference and other industry-related events.
Expressing disappointment at the postponement, Yudi Soetjiptadi, Managing Director of Eventus International, commented: “Although our team is fully ready to host the event according to the schedule and all preparations are done, due to recent developments and the most recent travel ban issued by the Indian government, we can't continue with SPiCE India 2020 on schedule. We are evaluating the situation and will discuss it with our advisors and stakeholders before announcing new dates. Despite this postponement, we look forward to welcoming all our clients to the third annual SPiCE India on its new dates.”
The Eventus International team appreciates all SPiCE India 2020 participants’ support and understanding in the matter which is beyond their control. They also assure that the event will take place on new dates once decided, and Eventus International will continue to promote SPiCE India through various channels for optimum brand exposure for all current sponsors and exhibitors.
