It means a step forward for the crypto world as users can purchase and sell digital assets on their mobile phones on the go.
What features does the service include?
As cryptocurrencies are growing in popularity, financial services providers find ways how to implement this trend in their products. Venmo, a payment application for smartphones, became a good example of this. Now its users can acquire and trade much-in-demand Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and even Litecoin.
In the opening stage, only some of the app users will have access to the new functionality. However, it will become available for all who are interested in cryptocurrency within several weeks. Soon, all seventy million customers will see the “Crypto” tab in their Venmo application and will be able to make cryptocurrency purchases on their handheld devices. What is more important, crypto investors can spend a minimum of one dollar but the fee of fifty cents is obligatory. The Venmo developers also want to educate their customers and will provide videos, which will introduce the crypto vertical to them.
