Since October 1, it will be possible to play ‘Call of Duty: Mobile’ on Android and iOS. Millions of played matches turned its first day into an eventful one.
More than thirty-nine million matches have been played all over the world and this number is soaring. This is due to the fact the more matches players will play, the better reward they will get.
The game surpassed the mark of five million downloads on the Google Play Store in the first hours after the release. It also managed to overtake other popular games and top the iOS App Store charts in the US. However, such a high volume of traffic led to issues connected with logging in and many people all over the world faced problems trying to access the game. Activision managed to quickly handle the issue and gave awards to those who experienced problems opening ‘Call of Duty: Mobile’. Players also got a letter of apology for caused inconveniences.
The next marks are fifty, one hundred, and three hundred million. It seems that the game will easily surpass these marks in the near future.
As mentioned earlier, Apple and Google have removed a number of apps from their stores. In spite of being disguised as non-gambling products, they turned out to be illegal gambling applications.
