The bookmaking technical provider Kambi Group has won the tender process for cooperation with Scooore. The latter is the betting company that is under the rule of the Belgian National Lottery, operating both in online and offline sectors. This cooperation has to upgrade the betting product competition in Belgium and make it tougher and more qualitative.
Even though the Belgian National Lottery seems to be the lotto provider only, this gambling organization has its influence on the sports betting market in the country. Thus, it owns the bookmaker Scooore, which is the national betting provider in both land-based and online verticals.
In order to upgrade the level of the services in the sportsbook sector, the National Belgian Lottery has organized the tender process to renew the technical side of the project. Finally, it came to an end with the winner – Kambi Group. The latter suggested the most interesting condition in terms of financial and technical collaboration, promising to bring a new quality to Scooore sports betting activity. According to the latest bookmaking news, cooperation with Kambi opens wider opportunities for both sides.
What will change in practice?
According to the National Lottery's CEO, Jannie Haek, the bookmaker will receive the needed flexibility in terms of giving odds and betting lines. The new technical provider has to bring more engagement to the clients of both land-based shops and online platform visitors.
