The gameplay takes place in the last European city with the uncomplicated name “The City” 15 years after the first part’s events. Moreover, the game has another main character. Aiden becomes a valuable tool in achieving serious goals since his advanced hand-to-hand combat techniques, as well as parkour and weapon skills make him unbeatable.

The developers announced that the number of locations and warring factions would be increased significantly compared with the original game. In addition, there will be more weapons and firearms.
Dying Light 2 system requirements will allow many gamers to play this game. The Intel Core i3-4160 3.6Ghz / AMD FX-6300 processor in tandem with an AMD Radeon R9 390 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB graphics card will be enough to try this game on your computer (though, you should have at least 8 GB RAM). However, if you want to enjoy the beauty of graphics and fully immerse yourself in the gameplay, you will need a more powerful processor (Intel Core i7-4790K 4-Core 4.0GHz / AMD FX-9590) and a graphics card (AMD Radeon R9 FURY X 4GB or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB).
Even before the Microsoft E3 2019 conference, it was known that Dying Light 2 would not be released until the end of the year. After the last trailer presentation, it was specified that the game would be available in Spring 2020. It is planned that the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be released simultaneously.
Death Stranding – November 8, 2019 (PS4)
Mysterious Death Stranding continues receiving more and more attention from gamers. The legendary Hideo Kojima’s project is his first brainchild at Kojima Productions.
The game trailer was presented at the E3 2018 conference, whose visitors were amazed by the novelty’s idea – an open world with elements of action, where the main goal is to restore the lost communication between isolated cities. Another Death Stranding’s feature is using famous actors’ 3D models to create images of computer characters.
The plot of the novelty is built around the protagonist Sam Porter-Bridges, who intends to reconnect to the rest of the planet that has been split after the global cataclysm and the alien invasion. Therefore, after the above events, humanity is on the verge of extinction.
The protagonist’s responsibility is to deliver cargo between different locations, simultaneously fighting invisible monsters and the so-called “timefall” – a rain from another universe, whose drops can make you old in a few moments or even turn back time. Another feature is the absence of the saving option in the game. When the main character dies, he enters the so-called purgatory. Therefrom he returns to the world, where the event of his death has already happened.

Death Stranding is created in such a way that all its elements, including the plot and the gameplay itself, are closely intertwined. Even the game’s name can be interpreted as “connection with death”.
At the end of May, Kojima notified the Network via Twitter that the novelty would be released on PS4 on November 8. As for the Death Stranding release date on PC, it has not yet been determined. However, according to recent information, it is going to be the summer of 2020. The game’s approximate system requirements are in this table.
Nioh 2 – March 13, 2020 (PS4)
Continuation of the samurai RPG-action by the Japanese developer Team Ninja is going to be even more exciting than the original. A demo version of the game for PS4 has become available starting from May 24.
Given that the first part’s release of Nioh was at the end of 2017, the upcoming sequel announcement at Sony’s E3 2018 has become a total surprise to the game’s fans. During the event, a teaser was presented, which confirmed the developer’s reputation for being the coolest bloody slasher creator.
After viewing the trailer, it became clear that the company had paid a lot of attention to the melee development. It is also known that the character editor will appear in the game, making it possible to choose the gender, race, and appearance of the protagonist. In addition, the developer will increase the number of spectacular deaths, giving gamers the opportunity to enjoy the colorful action.
The plot is still kept secret, so we have no idea what changes the novelty is expected to get. The location of the gameplay’s events (last time it was Japan in the Middle Ages) will be known after the next portion of news on Nioh 2 is published. However, we can say for sure that the game will keep its inherent themes – demons and samurai will continue their fight to the death.
The game was expected to be released at the end of 2019, but it did not happen. Based on the fact that the first part’s PC version was released a year after the console version, the same was expected to happen to Nioh 2. But, according to the latest information, the official date of release is March 13, 2020.

Ghost of Tsushima – First Half of 2020 (PS4)
Ghost of Tsushima is another bright representative of our top expected games list. The novelty is a project of the American company Sucker Punch Productions, which announced the upcoming release of its new video game at Paris Games Week 2017.
The plot tells the story of the last samurai named Jin, who alone confronted the Mongolian troops invading Japan in 1274. The game was created in the genre of action with the open-world elements. The main character has the opportunity to move freely around the vast territory of Tsushima Island and engage in battles with the enemy using old samurai tricks and techniques.
Among the features of the novelty are the opportunity to ride a horse and the ability to climb rocks. During the game, players must maintain secrecy in order not to be detected by the enemy, which is typical for stealth games.
Sucker Punch Productions has been developing Ghost of Tsushima since 2013. Therefore, it can be assumed that during such a long time all the gameplay details have been developed, as well as the gamers’ wishes have been taken into account. Apparently, the company team is going to show something really impressive, as the novelty applies for the rank of the best game of 2020.
There are various rumors about the Ghost of Tsushima release date. After the official announcement during the E3 2018 exhibition, the developer took a pause, having skipped the event this year. However, according to the latest information, the release for PlayStation 4 is planned for the first half of 2020. As for the PC version, the release date and system requirements have not been announced yet.

The Last of Us 2 – May 29, 2020 (PS4)
The sequel of post-apocalyptic action horror The Last of Us fully deserves to be on this list. In December 2016, the novelty by Naughty Dog was first announced at PlayStation Experience, where the developer presented an atmospheric and colorful trailer.
The game continues the story of the first part, where, after the epidemic caused by the fungus cordyceps, the majority of the world population died or turned into zombies. The main characters Joel and Ellie begin their path in the town of Jackson 5 years after the events of the original game.
Let’s find out a little more about the plot. The main events take place in Seattle, where Ellie goes to take revenge on an unknown enemy. New weapons, more dangerous adventures and improved game dynamics are waiting for you!
The developer has paid a lot of attention to the game mechanics, providing the ability to wiggle into narrow openings, disguise in the grass and use different fighting techniques. In addition, developers have improved artificial intelligence, which gave opponents the opportunity to better communicate and quickly find their rivals. Therefore, the realism and intensity of the game process are guaranteed.
The last trailer of The Last of Us 2 was shown at E3 2018, and since then there’s been no additional information on the novelty and its future release. However, the official PlayStation site put this game into the “Coming soon” column. According to the latest rumors, the release is scheduled for May 29, 2020.
The Last of Us 2 developers did not participate in E3 2019, so it is difficult to say when there will be any information on the PC version. Nevertheless, fans are hoping to be able to enjoy the novelty on PS4 this year.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood - July 25, 2019 (For All Platforms)
This video game, which is the last in our list, on the contrary, will be released before all the aforementioned novelties. The classic first-person shooter’s continuation developed by the companies MachineGames and Arkane Studios was traditionally announced during the E3 conference last June. Some days ago, a new trailer was presented that revealed new details on the game.
The plot brings us in 1980, almost 20 years after the events of the previous part of the franchise. The fight against the Nazis who won World War II is still on. This time, the daughters of the legendary B.J. Blaskowitz are trying to find their father, who mysteriously disappeared in the vicinity of Paris.
A long-awaited multiplayer function has been finally added to Wolfenstein: Youngblood – a player has an opportunity to invite one partner to the game. In another case, the second character will be controlled by artificial intelligence. The Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order for $40, where you get a Buddy Pass, which, in fact, allows you to invite your partner to the gameplay. The package also includes Cyborg Skin Pack (a set of improved protection and weapons) and the game itself.
Another innovation is the presence of microtransactions – players, if they wish, will be able to purchase the outfit and skills they need for real money. However, according to the project’s chief web designer Andrea Overforsa, they do not need this:
“I have been playing Wolfenstein: Youngblood for the last 14 days and during this time I have never used the microtransaction function. In my opinion, it is absolutely unnecessary. However, if you want to buy some skills for your character, you will have this opportunity. If you ask me, this thought never crossed my mind.”
Wolfenstein: Youngblood was released on July 25, 2019. The standard version for all platforms is available for $29.99. Wolfenstein: Youngblood system requirements “bite”, but this is unlikely to stop its true admirers.
The game (PC version) requires operating system Windows 7 or 10 and 64 GB of free space on a disk. As for the processor, it has to be at least i5-4590 4-Core 3.4GHz / AMD FX-8350, but the developer recommends Intel Core i7-4770 4-Core 3.4 GHz / AMD FX-9370. Video card AMD Radeon R9 290 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 is appropriate, but the game will go better with AMD Radeon RX 470 4GB / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. Minimum RAM is 8 GB, optimal – 16 GB RAM. The novelty also requires at least 55 GB on the hard disk.
As mentioned earlier, one of the most well-known ceremonies in the gaming industry, the Game Awards, named its winners of 2019.
